Craddocks Car Storage supplies indoor and outdoor car parking, as well as services such as vehicle grooming, mechanical servicing and warrants of fitness, re-fuelling, panel and paint repairs, plus complimentary shuttle services. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Craddocks Chch is a park and ride facility, meaning that it is located some distance away from Christchurch Airport. Travellers have to utilise the car park’s shuttle transfer services to complete their journey to the airport, and then again on their return to Christchurch to retrieve their vehicle. The journey time is approximately five minutes, and the buses run on demand. Customers will need to leave one set of car keys with the staff at Craddocks, so that they can place their car into storage, for the duration of the stay.
Up until 2011, Craddocks Christchurch was privately operated by PMW 2000 Limited. It was then acquired by Christchurch International Airport Limited, which now maintains the facility and determines its parking rates.
