Long Stay 1Affordable parking just a short walk to the terminal. Rates for this open air car park start at $25.00 for 24 hours. Designed for budget long-term parking, this uncovered car park is 200 metres from the terminal and charges a daily flat rate. Suggested for stays of one day or more. Long Stay 1 is open for all flights, including early morning and late night.
Long Stay Saver The Long Stay Saver Car Park offers budget conscious parking, a walk or shuttle ride away from the airport. An open air, 'no frills' car park, which suits those travelling for a few days up to a few weeks. Rates start at $17.00 per day, and operate on a sliding scale. The Long Stay Saver Car Park is open to meet all flights daily, from first to last.
Premium Car ParkThe Premium Car Park is located directly outside the terminal, and locked nightly at 10.00pm. It is the most secure of all of the official Newcastle Airport parking options, protected by a range of advanced security features. The car park is undercover, and contains several accessible spaces near the entrance.
Newcastle Airport (NTL) is a regional airport located 15 kilometres north of Newcastle, which serves the city and surrounding area of Port Stephens. The airport handles over 1.25 million passengers every year, making it the 13th busiest airport in Australia. Jetstar Airways, Virgin Australia, QantasLink, and Regional Express operate regular flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Ballina from NTL, while FlyPelican runs regular services to Ballina and Canberra.
Virgin Australia currently operates the only international route out of Newcastle Airport to Auckland, New Zealand. Offered during peak holiday periods, the service operates three times per week, and if successful, is expected to continue on a more permanent basis.
The terminal building has undergone significant redevelopment in recent years, with construction work undertaken to add retail, food, and beverage outlets, plus an information desk to provide passengers with facilities to book accommodation and connections, and to receive information on local attractions.
