If you’d prefer the comfort, speed, and convenience of valet parking when you travel to Sydney Airport, there are four different services at your disposal. Depending on the terminal you’re departing from and the airline you have booked with, you can select either Pronto Valet, T2 Valet, Qantas Valet, or Virgin Premium Valet Parking, Sydney Airport.
If you’d like to know how these services compare and what they charge, we have compiled a short guide to valet parking at Sydney Airport, detailing everything you need to know about this premium parking option. Read on for the Flyparks guide to Sydney Airport valet parking, full of handy tips, useful information, and up-to-date price comparisons.
All of the valet parking services at Sydney Airport operate in a similar fashion. You either book online or turn up on the day, and drop-off your vehicle. You will have to hand over your car keys to the trained staff at the car park, so they can safely park your car on your behalf. While you complete the short walk to your terminal, your car will be securely stored in an undercover facility.
Once you arrive back in Sydney, a driver will meet you outside your Terminal and drop-off your car. They’ll hand back your car keys, help you with your luggage, and then ensure that you can travel home without issue.
There are four companies which provide valet services at Kingsford Smith, which are Pronto Valet, T2 Valet, Qantas Valet, and Virgin Premium Valet. Your choice of valet parking company should factor in the terminal your flight departs from, and the airline you booked with.
Virgin Australia limit the use of their valet services to their own customers, meaning that you need to be flying with Virgin to use this car park. Qantas similarly targets their own customers, and offers frequent flyer points for those that opt to leave their car with Qantas Valet. If you're flying with another airline, your best choice is either T2 Valet (for domestic flights departing from Terminal 2) or Pronto Valet (all terminals).
All four companies offer car washing services at additional cost. If you’d like your car professionally cleaned while you’re away, you will need to enquire on arrival. Prices start at $45.00 for small cars and $50.00 for larger vehicles, and go up to $95.00 and $100.00 respectively, for the platinum package. Qantas Valet charges between $55.00 and $150.00 for sedans, and $65.00 to $185.00 for 4WDs and vans.
Your options for valet parking at the Domestic Terminals are Pronto Valet, T2 Valet, Qantas Valet, and Virgin Premium Valet. Pronto Valet is close to both Terminals 2 and 3, T2 Valet and Virgin Premium Valet are both linked to Terminal 2, whereas Qantas Valet provides seamless access to T3. The rates for these valet services are as follows:
Duration | Pronto Valet | T2 Valet | Qantas Valet | Virgin Valet |
---|---|---|---|---|
0 - 2 hours | $49.00 | $49.00 | $40.00 | $49.00 |
2 - 3 hours | $61.00 | $61.00 | $45.00 | $61.00 |
3 - 24 hours | $88.00 | $88.00 | $88.00 | $88.00 |
Additional days | + $64.00 | + $64.00 | + $62.00* | + $64.00 |
* The Qantas Valet service uses independent pricing. After the first 14 days, each additional 24 hour period is charged at $25.00.
At the International Airport, your valet parking options are Pronto Valet Arrivals and Pronto Valet Departures. The Arrivals service is on the same level as International Arrivals, whereas the Departures service is located directly opposite the T1 check-in counters on Departures Road. The rates for these valet services are as follows:
Duration | Pronto Valet Arrivals | Pronto Valet Departures |
---|---|---|
0 - 2 hours | $49.00 | $49.00 |
2 - 3 hours | $61.00 | $61.00 |

Additional days | + $64.00 | + $64.00 |
Since the valet car parks at Sydney Airport are undercover, there are vehicle height restrictions in place, which in most cases is 2 or 2.1 metres. If your vehicle cannot fit inside a standard sized parking space, you will need to make other arrangements
It's important to take note of the different opening hours for each car park. While most are open for the first and last flight arriving/departing at SYD, not all are open 24/7. Qantas Valet and Pronto Valet are open between 5.00am – 11.30pm weekdays, and 5.30am –11.30pm on weekends and public holidays, while Virgin Premium Valet states that it is open during the airport's own hours of operation
You will need to hand over one set of car keys when using a valet service, so that the driver can meet you at the terminal
At present, it is not possible to book at Virgin Premium Valet online. You simply need to drive up on the day, and the staff there will take care of the rest. You can prepay for valet parking at Qantas Valet and Pronto Valet Sydney Airport on the official website, or drive up on the day of travel. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to book either service through Flyparks at present.
You can instead search, compare, and book at a range of private car parks near Sydney Airport on our website. Each of the independent car parks featured offer free shuttle bus transfers to the airport terminals and back, which is a more cost effective solution to parking at Kingsford Smith than premium valet parking.
