Cairns Airport’s Premium Covered Parking is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing safe and secure parking for those travelling from both T1 and T2. Within close walking distance of the airport building, the car park is protected by all the security features you’d expect from an official airport car park, including CCTV, barrier entry/exit, and regular patrols.

On the day of your departure, make your way to the Premium Covered Car Park and drive up to the entry barrier. You’ll need to press the help button to speak to a member of staff. Quote your Flyparks booking confirmation number to gain access to the car park. Make sure you don’t take a ticket from the machine. Once you’re in the car park, select one of the available bays and park up. Once you’ve removed your luggage from your vehicle, you’re good to go! Just walk to the airport building using the covered walkway, and head to the check-in desks.
On your return, you will need to repeat this procedure to leave the car park. Once you’re ready to leave, drive up to the exit barrier and quote your Flyparks booking confirmation number. If you exceed your booking times there will be an additional fee imposed on exit, which you will need to pay before departing the car park.
When approaching from Cairns, head northwest on National Route 1 toward Rutherford Street and turn right onto Airport Avenue. From Airport Avenue, take the second exit onto Mick Borzi Drive. Then continue straight, over the next roundabout (second exit). Take a slight left onto DC3 Street, and then turn right into the Premium Covered Car Park.
