Your vehicle will be stored in either the facility’s secure indoor or outdoor lot, which are protected by high metal fencing and random staff patrols. The car park is in easy walking distance of the terminal, however a free shuttle service is available should you need assistance or have heavy luggage.
A great budget alternative to official Nelson Airport parking, Nelson Airport Car Storage is open from 8.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays, and 8.30am to 4.30pm on weekends. For after hours use, there’s a handy drop box, where you can place your keys and reservation confirmation.

Catch one of the regular shuttle buses to the airport terminal. Some buses also run on demand. Buses take between 5 and 15 minutes to reach the terminal.
Catch the bus at the terminal or nearby and you will be taken back to the car park.
Collect your car at the pick-up zone and drive home.
On arrival at the car park, you will need to park your car in one of the available bays and then report to reception. Make sure you take a copy of your Flyparks booking confirmation with you, as this serves as your proof of purchase. Once you have checked-in your vehicle you can either walk to the airport or take the shuttle bus. The buses run on demand, meaning that you’ll never be kept waiting.
On your return to Nelson Airport, you can either walk back to the car park or give them a call to request a pick-up. The phone number will be on your Flyparks booking confirmation. Nelson Airport Car Storage will impart more instructions at check-in, and arrange a meeting point with you. Once you get back to the car park, you can collect your vehicle and drive safely home.
Either from Nelson in the north or from the south, take State Highway Route 6 and follow the signs marked 'AIRPORT'. Continue following the signs and turn at Quarantine Road. In 600 metres, turn left to reach the parking facility.
